VGT Announces TPT Golf Shafts as Latest Partner Sponsor of the VGT & the 2026 Vancouver Open Fundraising Pro-Am
Vancouver, BC — August 25, 2026 — Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) is proud to announce TPT Golf Shafts, a premium golf shaft designer renowned for its advanced Thin Ply Technology, as its latest Partner Sponsor of the Vancouver Golf Tour (VGT) & 2026 Odlum Brown Vancouver Open Fundraising Pro-Am.
The partnership brings TPT’s high-performance shaft technology to VGT golfers, with players having their first opportunity to experience and test TPT Golf Shafts during the Van Open Fundraising Pro-Am on Wednesday, August 26, at Fraserview Golf Course.
Three Premium TPT Golf Shafts Up for Grabs in VGT Order of Merit
As part of the partnership, TPT Golf Shafts will donate four premium golf shafts to the 2026 VGT Order of Merit winners:
- One TPT Golf Shaft will be awarded to the top VGT Professional on the 2026 Order of Merit.
- Two TPT Golf Shafts will be awarded to the top two VGT Amateurs on the 2026 Order of Merit not already qualified for the Race to Wailea in Hawaii.
Each prize includes one TPT Golf Shaft valued at up to $600, plus a $100 custom fitting session, for a total prize value of $700!
Winning golfers can choose from an eligible iron, hybrid, fairway or driver shaft. A Driver Nitro shaft is also available with a $500 upgrade fee, payable in cash or VGT Gift cards.

Custom fittings and demo opportunities will be available from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on August 26, at Fraserview Golf Course, with TPT Custom Fitter & Sales Representative Mike Aizawa on site.

The Technology Behind TPT
