36-HOLE CUT

The 54-Hole Championship will have a 36-Hole Cut for both Professionals and Amateurs.  Details of how the cut is determined in each category is outlined below.

Professionals

Fifty percent of the Professional field + ties will make the 36-Hole cut to play Sunday.

If there are 5 or more female Professionals in the field, the top 50% of female Professionals + ties will make the cut to play Sunday.

If there are fewer than 5 female Professionals registered, these female Professionals will compete against all male Professionals from an equitable distance (approx. 12-15% shorter) and qualify for the 36-hole cut in an ‘Open’ Professional field (men & women competing together).

If there are fewer than 5 Female Professionals in the field, the top 2 female Professionals will automatically make the cut to compete for the Overall Women’s Title vs. the female Championship Flight Amateurs in the field.

The LOW FEMALE Professional will be guaranteed a $1,000 cheque sponsored by MAUI JIM CANADA.

Amateurs

With a full field of 312 golfers, 50% of all Amateurs + ties will make the cut to play Sunday as follows:

Women’s Championship Flt. (5.0 & less)*

The top 50% of GROSS Scores & ties make the cut

Women’s Flight A (5.1 to 10.0)*

The top 50% of GROSS Scores & ties make the cut

Women’s Flight B (10.1 to 22.0)*

The top 50% of NET scores & ties make the cut

Men’s Championship Flt. (5.0 & less)*

The top 50% of GROSS Scores & ties make the cut

Women’s Senior (55+) (10.0 & less)

The top 50% of GROSS Scores & ties make the cut

Men’s Flight A (5.1 to 10.0)*

The top 50% of GROSS Scores & ties make the cut

The top 50% of NET Scores & ties make the cut

Men’s Senior (55+) (8.0 & less)

*Handicap Flights above are estimated.  The final makeup of handicap flights will be determined once the field has been confirmed.

(If there are not a minimum of 5 players registered in either the Women’s Flight A or B, this flight will be combined into one flight and the cut will be determined by the top 50% of net scores)

Senior Division: Sponsored by Nickel Heating & Ventilation

If you choose to play in    the Senior Division, you will not be eligible to compete in your own flight for prizing.
