2013 Saputo Vancouver Open has New Date & Larger Purse

The 2013 Saputo Vancouver Open, held on the Vancouver Park Board’s three championship golf courses in partnership with Vancouver Golf Tour, is moving to June this year with $125,000 in Cash and Prizes based on a full field of national and international players, and a $16,000 cheque for the winner. The 7th annual 54-hole Saputo Vancouver Open begins June 13 at 7:00 am. Competitors rotate between McCleery and Langara Golf Courses for the first two rounds. Adam Hadwin Drops the Hammer Down in Round

Round two of the 2011 Paine Edmonds Vancouver Open saw Canada’s #1 Ranked Golfer Adam Hadwin stomp his foot on the accelerator, lighting up his scorecard with 5 birdies and an eagle to card his second consecutive round of 65 (-6) on Vancouver’s Premier Parks Golf Courses.  Hadwin’s domination in round two came on the shortest of the three courses, Langara, noted for its perfectly manicured and undulating greens.   Hadwin’s solid play was punctuated right off the bat as he confidently drove it onto the edge of the first green for an easy two putt birdie to start the day.
